Edford Privacy Policy

Edford respects your right to privacy and any personal information provided by you to the Edford will be held in confidence. This policy outlines how Edford handles personal information that is provided to us. The Policy applies to all personal information provided to Edford and information about individuals obtained from other sources but not to what is available publicly. The policy also applies to the information shared between Edford and its related companies, businesses and partners.

Collection of Information
We will only collect what information is necessary for us to provide an efficient and satisfactory service.  We will advise you if we collect information relating to you from other sources.  Your consent to use information for any other purpose will be requested. Edford monitors and records details of all incoming electronic traffic to ensure the integrity of the Edford’s networks.  This information will be used for statistical analysis to help improve the services delivered by the Edford.

Use of Information
The information you have provided will primarily only be used for the service you have requested of us. We are obliged to pass on information to Government agencies when legally requested but in general this is used only as a measure of Edford’s compliance, efficiency and effectiveness.

Data Quality
We endeavor at all times to ensure information held by the Edford about you is accurate and up to date. In fact we encourage you to notify us of any inaccurate information so that it can be corrected.

Access to Data
You may review personal data held by us at anytime by visiting the Edford website or by contacting us. Edford staff should contact the Personnel Department. All others who have provided the Edford with personal information should check with the appropriate area where that information was lodged.

Security of Data
At Edford we make every effort to see that personal data remains secure. Information or data is restricted to those who need to know and distribution of information is kept to a minimum.

Unique Identifiers
Edford uses unique identifiers in its Client Administration and Staff related Systems. These systems are designed to provide security of your information. Please advise us if you have concerns about your unique identifier.

Transborder Data Flow
We will only transfer your personal information outside your country of residence to provide you services as directly or indirectly requested by you.

Sensitive InformationWe will not collect any sensitive information about you except where directed for a specific purpose. Sensitive information is generally regarded as information relating to: ethnic background, religion, political views, sexual preference and criminal records.

Edford respects everyone’s right to anonymity except in circumstances where it is necessary for you to provide us with your identity.

We are completely open with what we do with personal information and this is communicated by way of this Information Privacy Policy.

Breaches of this Policy
The Edford has an established Information Privacy Committee whose responsibilities include ensuring that details contained within this policy are adhered to throughout the Edford.

In the first Instance alleged breaches of this policy should be referred to the area where the information was initially lodged by you.

If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached at this level, the alleged breach should be submitted in writing to the Edford’s Privacy Officer, P.O. Box 7090, Banyule 3084, Australia.

Terms and Conditions
Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using the information and services available through the Edford website (“Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. Edford may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the Site. No misrepresentations allowed
You agree that it is a condition on your use of the Edford Site and of any other services provided by Edford or through the Site that you will not through any act or omission (including but not limited to creating a profile on the Edford Site) mislead or deceive others.

General provisions
If any part of this agreement is held invalid that part shall be severed from this agreement and the remainder of this agreement will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Termination of this agreement will not end those provisions that are capable of surviving the ending of this agreement.

The laws governing this agreement will be the laws in Victoria, Australia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts and its Appellate Courts and the jurisdiction of the Federal Court of Australia sitting in Victoria.

For the purposes of this agreement the words “Edford”, “We”, “Our” and “Us” refer to Edford Consulting Pty Ltd and “Site” to materials delivered on www.Edford.com and other co-branded versions of the site.
